Before their goaltending swap last week, the Edmonton Oilers were said to have major interest in Buffalo Sabres' Alex Lyon.

Tristan Jarry left Thursday’s game with an injury in only his third start for the Oilers, raising concerns about Edmonton’s goaltending.

After acquiring Tristan Jarry, there are rumors that the Oilers might not be done adding to their goaltender rotation through trade.

The recent goaltender trade that saw Stuart Skinner exit the Edmonton Oilers organization represents one of the final touches of the roster remake/remodel for general manager Stan Bowman. His version of the team involves several new feature players added over the last 16 months.
