MANILA -- There is no tsunami threat to the Philippines following a series of strong earthquakes that struck off the coast of Russia, Phivolcs said on Sunday afternoon. Three strong tremors were recorded off the east coast of Kamchatka, Russia. The first was measured at magnitude 5.0, which was followed by magnitude 6.7 quake.
