The San Francisco 49ers hosted wide receiver Gabe Davis on a visit in free agency, according to Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz. Davis opened his career with the Buffalo Bills before spending the 2024 season on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Jacksonville Jaguars released veteran receiver Gabe Davis nearly 14 months after signing him to a three-year, $39 million contract.

With James Gladstone now running the front office, it appears the Jaguars are moving on from another Baalke carryover. Earlier this offseason, Jacksonville also got rid of fellow receiver Christian Kirk (traded to the Houston Texans) and tight end Evan Engram (released, signed with the Denver Broncos ).
