NSA Doval expressed optimism about the outcome of the 24th Special Representative (SR)-level talks on boundary issues.

Doval said he was pleased to see an “upward trend” since the last round of SR talks held in China in December last year. The talks came after a meeting between Prime Minister Modi and President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Kazan in October last year.

New Delhi: National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi at Hyderabad House in New Delhi on Tuesday and held a fresh round of Special Representatives (SR) dialogue on the boundary question. Wang Yi arrived in India late Monday afternoon on a two-day visit.
