The Washington Commanders have gotten a few peaks into their full 2025 schedule with the latest coming Tuesday in a game that marks a historic achievement for the NFL.

A day before the official schedule release, we already know that the Eagles will have four big-audience, standalone games.

The Commanders acquired the five time pro bowl left tackle from the Houston Texans in exchange for multiple draft picks, with their 2025 third and seventh round selections, plus a 2026 second and fourth rounder going to the Texans. Washington also received a 2025 fourth round pick.

The Eagles and Commanders met twice during the regular season last year. Philadelphia took the first matchup, 26-18 and Washington took the second in a come-from-behind victory, 36-33. The Eagles got their revenge in the NFC Championship with a dominant 55-23 win to advance to the Super Bowl in which they would also be victorious.
