The second Game of Thrones spin-off prequel is based on George R.R. Martin’s novella The Tales of Dunk and Egg. Specifically, the show will cover his short story “The Hedge Knight.” The events take place a century before Game of Thrones, so that places Knight smack-dab in the middle of House of the Dragon and Thrones.
