Many of the top prospects on this list a year ago -- including Jackson Holliday, Jackson Chourio, Wyatt Langford and Paul Skenes -- have graduated to the majors, so it is a perfect time to get familiar with a new wave of future stars ready to make their mark on the sport.

The Athletic ’s Keith Law released his annual top 100 MLB prospects heading into the 2025 season earlier this week. I’d recommend marking this time of year on your calendar and celebrate my colleague’s in-depth coverage of all things Bowman 1st cards — I mean minor league prospects.

Well, sort of, at least. The Rangers have three prospects ranked on the preseason top 100 lists of the five major outlets — Baseball America, MLB Pipeline, ESPN, The Athletic and Baseball Prospectus — that evaluate the league’s young talent. And, for the most part, there’s relative consensus on where each of the prospects rank, too.

Before we get started here, please keep in mind that that the prospect list you’ll find below skews toward each player’s long-term fantasy potential. There are several prospects who would rank higher on a “real life” lists,
