New security video released on Monday by the Rhode Island police showed a person of interest wanted for questioning in the deadly mass shooting that erupted over the weekend on the campus of Brown University.

Rhode Island Hospital officials said Tuesday morning that seven victims of the Brown University shooting remain in the hospital, where several are in critical condition. One patient is considered stable, one is in critical condition, and five others are in critical but stable condition, hospital officials said.

President Donald Trump criticized Brown University after a fatal mass shooting at the Rhode Island school over the weekend, saying there were too few cameras on campus. The gunman who opened fire inside an engineering building on Saturday, killed two people, and injured nine others on Saturday, Dec. 13.
