STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — In the wake of Moore Catholic’s decision to suspend its high school football program for the 2025 season, Fabulous Football Saturday organizers needed to scramble to find a replacement contest for the highly anticipated three-game card.

West Nile virus has been detected in mosquitoes across New York City, according to the city’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. No human cases of the illness have been reported, but it has been found in all boroughs except for Manhattan.
