Aka indestructible. Theres pro’s and con’s to each generation of truck, I’ve had them all and could ramble about them for hours lol.

Jun 28, 2013 · As for comparing the 2nd and 3rd gen, I have to agree that the 3rd gen bests the 2nd in almost every way. I still love my 12v rattle and sure can't complain about nearly 300k mostly trouble free miles. But at the end of the day, if I had no cummins diesels and was in the market for one, it would be a 3rd gen with the 5.9L.
