This morning at 7:40 a.m., the Pasadena Fire Department and Pasadena Police Department responded to a call of a structure fire near Marengo Avenue and the 210 Freeway. Heavy smoke and flames were visible upon arrival, and the incident was quickly upgraded to a second alarm fire. Two vacant homes were involved. No injuries were reported. The fire was contained and knocked down in approximately 20 minutes. We thank our first responders for their swift action in protecting the community. | City of
