These dreamy, buttery Pumpkin Pie Shortbread Bars have all the flavor and texture we love about pumpkin pie but in a dessert we can easily hold in our hand. It’s made with an easy shortbread crust you can mix in a bowl and simply press into the baking pan - so much easier and faster than making pie crust and it’s sooo good. Recipe is on my Dee & Sweets blog for you under Pumpkin Pie Shortbread Bars.

Grandma’s Pumpkin Bars🎃 My grandma got this recipe off of a can of Festal Pumpkin, but changed a couple of things (she adds butter instead of vegetable oil, and uses a smaller pan so that the bars are thicker) In a large mixing bowl add: -4 eggs -1 cup of room temp melted butter -2 cups of sugar -one 15 ounce can of pumpkin Mix this all together. Then in a separate bowl, add: -2 cups of flour -2 teaspoons of baking powder -1 teaspoon of baking soda -1/2 teaspoon of salt -2 teaspoons of cinnamon
