A beautifully snowy day last Sunday at the park. The Red House picnic pavilion’s two fireplaces are temporarily out of commission. The Friends of Allegany will be funding the materials for repairs for both chimneys so they can get back on line for the Saturday fires for the park’s patrons. As of a couple of years ago fires have also been going on Saturdays at the Quaker picnic pavilion. This is a great destination point for day hikers or a cool/warm place thing to do for winter campers! | Friend
