Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-Wis.) is riding halfway across the country on his motorcycle to avoid flight delays caused by the ongoing government shutdown. The Wisconsin Republican is among several members of Congress going to extraordinary measures to make it back to Washington, D.C., in time to vote on a spending package to end the longest government shutdown in history.
