Over the weekend The Yorkshire Wildlife Trust created this sand drawing of the British Isles on Filey beach. It's part of a campaign to raise awareness of newly-proposed Marine Conservation Zones. These are specially protected areas around the UK coast that are designed to enhance marine life. One of the proposed areas includes a 1176km2 area off Holderness Coast, which is home to flat fish and sandeels – the favoured food of Yorkshire coast’s puffins.
