The USS LST-325, a World War II–era Landing Ship, Tank, recently passed by our Fort Madison, Iowa live train camera. She played a vital role in the Allied invasions of Sicily, Salerno, and Normandy, carrying troops, vehicles, and supplies directly onto contested beaches.
