⚠️UPDATE - A19 REOPENED following burst water main on the A19 in North Tyneside⚠️ Earlier today we were made aware of third party damage to one of our water pipes on the A19 between Backworth and Killingworth, and a section of the dual carriageway was closed in both directions to allow our teams to work safely. Flooding on the road has now been cleared, and the main has been isolated in order for us to carry out repairs tomorrow (FRI). We do not anticipate any further road closures needed. Both
