A 21-year-old student pilot walked away uninjured after his light aircraft crashed and caught fire at Parafield Airport in Adelaide's north during his third solo flight. The aircraft bounced heavily during a touch-and-go landing manoeuvre, lost airspeed causing the left wing to stall, and impacted the runway before bursting into flames approximately 30 seconds after the pilot evacuated. The Australian Transport Safety Bureau is investigating the incident, which is among approximately 20 accident
