The Washington State Department of Transportation said a pass maintenance worker was on the south side of Highway 97 Blewett Pass when he noticed a mama bear on one side of the highway and her cub on the other. He activated his truck-mounted message board to warn motorists to slow down for wildlife, then watched as the two were reunited and continued up into the mountains. (WSDOT video) | NCWLIFE
