Looking back... On this day back in 2012, Ladybird rescued our first dog. We named him Levon, as a tribute to esteemed musician Levon Helm, who had passed away just days before. What a sight little Levon was, huddled in a kennel in the shelter where he had ended up as a "stray". Levon was friendly and kind, despite being an absolute mess.
